Mission: To contribute to a more conscious world.
I champion a leadership style for the 21st Century that comes from reconnecting to the joy of our true nature and allowing that truth to shine through us.
Bringing a skill for seeing possibilities and a passion for unlocking that potential, I empower people to bring their absolute best to life.
In partnership, I assist others to break through blocks holding them back from the freedom to be themselves and to generate what they really want in their lives.

Living and working abroad was an experience I wanted from the age of seven, and I took every opportunity to study abroad in high school, college, and graduate school, and created an opportunity to advance my career through an international assignment, moving myself to Paris, France in 1998.
I have experienced first-hand that working in multi-cultural environments, on multi-national teams, and living outside one's comfort zone means more than just rearranging aspects of how we work and live to respond to situational changes. As I adapted to different cultural cues, values, and communication styles, I experienced an inner reorientation of who I was, what I believed, and how I led myself and others.
For eight years I enjoyed an expatriate lifestyle, and it was exciting. I held management positions in global corporations, the likes of Kraft Foods, Cisco, Ernst & Young; conducted meetings and delivered presentations in French; led multinational teams; lived in exciting international cities - Paris and London - and traveled around Europe; and took home a very comfortable salary. From the outside, life was a dream-come-true. Only…
If I had written a postcard it would have been something like “Having a wonderful life, wish I was here.” At some point in the adventure, I realized my days were filled completely by my work, but I wasn’t feeling fulfilled in the work, and I wasn’t being fully present in my own life.
My picture of success stopped feeling like success to me. Somehow I knew deep inside I wasn’t living the life that supported my true dreams and purpose, that my job had become something I did rather than an expression of who I was. That is when the opportunity for a sabbatical presented itself and it led me on a path to mastering energetic leadership.
What I came to understand during my transition from expatriate in London to solopreneur in Virginia is that it didn’t really matter where I was in the world or what job I had. My own thoughts had affected the way I was experiencing my life, as well as my health, my style of leadership, and the quality of my relationships. And I came to the realization that taking the lead of my life adventure had more to do with a positive way of being than it ever had with a constant pursuit of achievements.
Today, I bring a commitment to high conscious leadership to engage clients in conversations that bring out the absolute best of who we are and expand perspectives into new possibilities. The result is more people have developed their own personally effective styles of leadership, are motivated to take positive actions, feel more engaged, energetic, and successful, and in turn are inspiring others to do the same.
I hold a Master in International Management from Thunderbird Global School of Management and BA in French from Randolph-Macon College. I am a Certified Professional Coach, iPEC accredited Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, and NLP Practitioner. I am also "Aunt Denise," which is a most fulfilling role.
